February 27, 2024RENEWAL OF OFFICES IN SIOOT: THE COMMITMENT TO THE PROMOTION OF OZONE THERAPY AND SOCIAL SOLIDARITY IS REAFFIRMED.
Saturday, November 9, 2024, in Bergamo, the Assembly of the SIOOT (Scientific Society for Oxygen Ozone Therapy) was held for the renewal of offices, a crucial moment to refocus the association's objectives. Professor Antonio Carlo Galoforo, a specialist in the use of ozone in medicine for over 30 years, has been reconfirmed as a member of the SIOOT Steering Committee and, at the same time, re-elected President of the “Ozone Solidale Onlus” Association.
SIOOT, founded in 1983, over the years has established itself as a reference institution in the field of oxygen-ozone therapy, thanks to its mission to promote research and development of this innovative therapeutic practice. With more than 2,500 trained doctors and numerous hospitals and universities involved, the association has an International Scientific Committee that oversees ongoing research. In this context, Professor Galoforo's commitment is part of a broader strategy aimed at ensuring the effectiveness and validity of clinical applications of ozone, as well as encouraging a continuous exchange of knowledge between professionals in the sector.
At the same time, Ozono Solidale Onlus stands out for its mission to bring therapeutic assistance to the most disadvantaged settings. The association aims to guarantee all people, in Italy but also in the rest of the world, access to ozone therapy treatments — reaching even populations in difficulty because they lack drinking water and adequate hygiene conditions. With an approach oriented to solidarity, Ozono Solidale Onlus demonstrates how scientific research can be a multiplier effect of social well-being.
“The growth and expansion of practices related to ozone therapy are our priority, together with the creation of a culture based on giving and attention to the people most in need,” says Professor Galoforo. “The Ozono Solidale Onlus association, in fact, does not limit itself to disseminating the knowledge of ozone in its many applications, but promotes an idea of medical care practiced in a supportive and widespread way.”
At a time when professionalism in caring for others must be at the center of health policies, the renewal of the offices of SIOOT represents a fundamental step in the direction of a more just future for everyone. With this renewed spirit, we are preparing to experience a new chapter, aimed at facing contemporary challenges and ensuring the excellence of ozone therapy, in harmony with the values of solidarity and social inclusion.
